A/Prof Chrishan Nalliah

Associate Professor Nalliah is a clinical academic electrophysiologist with a vision to meet the needs of patients with arrhythmia disorders. He is presently appointed conjoint Associate Professor at Macquarie University Hospital.

He graduated from Medicine with Honours from Sydney University, completed clinical cardiology training at Westmead Hospital and was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2015. Dr Nalliah completed a PhD and clinical fellowship at The University of Melbourne and a subsequent post-doctoral fellowship at Westmead Hospital.

His work has been recognised both nationally and internationally by award of multiple awards, including the Ralph Reader Prize, CSANZ arrhthmia prize, APHRS young investigator award, Parmley prize and the Eric Prystowsky award.

A/Prof Nalliah is an NHMRC early career fellow and has published broadly in the area of cardiac electrophysiology with over 60 peer reviewed publications. His clinical expertise spans complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmia management, device implantation and diagnosis/management of inherited arrhythmia syndromes,
